CHP Systems
Reclaim energy from waste heat in your current genset using Bowman combined heat and power systems. Valutech specialists can help you transform your genset into CHP system so you can recover valuable wasted energy.
Genset-based CHP systems with heat exchangers can recover waste heat from the jacket water and exhaust gases. It’s easy to convert a reciprocating engine based genset into a high efficiency CHP solution – turning waste heat into valuable free energy.
The by-product of any engine powered generator is heat. Under traditional operating conditions that heat is wasted, escaping to the atmosphere and helping warm the planet. By adding a heat exchanger to the exhaust gas side of the genset, most of that waste heat is captured and used to heat hot water for space heating, washing , personal hygiene and where there is a requirement for industrial process water. No additional fuel is used, so the end user is effectively getting their hot water for free.
Our technicians can help fit and upgrade your current generator set to a CHP system so you can take advantage of wasted heat for high efficiency.
