Our partner Enerquip has a wealth of experience in the manufacturing and servicing of shell and tube heat exchangers. Their units are also optimized for Cleaning-in-Place operations; Enerquip units comply with 3-A regulations for construction and cleanability, containing FDA-approved elastomers, seamless tubing, and high weld quality. Custom solutions are also available to provide configurations of certain sizes or using certain special alloys.

Enerquip sanitary shell and tube heat exchangers feature alloyed construction to ensure corrosion resistance and cleanliness of hygienic processes. They are built to comply with North American standards (ASME hydro-tested, TEMA C and CRN guidelines), and have no dead legs. Enerquip units are also fully drainable on the product side, and feature sanitary tri-clamp connections on the process side that allow for simple installation.

About Double Tube Sheet Designs
Double tube sheet designs are utilized in sanitary shell and tube heat exchangers in order to minimize the risk of cross-contamination between product and heating/cooling media. With these designs, the service medium is sealed within the shell by one tube sheet, while the other tube sheet seals the product; this allows for simple visual detection in a leakage event.
