Valutech is partnered with Alfa Laval, the world’s largest manufacturer of gasketed plate and frame heat exchangers, to provide a wide range of models with connections ranging from 1” to 30”.
The complete line of Alfa Laval CB copper-brazed plate heat exchangers for hydronic applications is available with connections ranging from 1/2″ to 6″. The latest AXP line of specialized brazed-plate heat exchangers models are developed to work in extreme-pressure CO2-based applications up to 130 bar.
Made completely of SS-316 stainless steel, AlfaNova fusion-bonded units can withstand temperatures of up to 550°C, and pressures of 70 bar, respectively.
Alfa Laval’s range of spiral heat exchangers features robust and reliable options for liquid-to-liquid or two-phase duties with high fouling-risk applications. Compabloc® welded plate heat exchangers are highly maintainable and can be used for liquid-liquid, condenser and reboiler applications.
Valutech provides a complete line of sanitary plate-and-frame, and Contherm scraped surface and tube-in-tube heat exchangers for dairy, food, and beverage applications; we also offer hygienic shell & tube heat exchangers for pharmaceutical and personal care applications.
Valutech supplies Alfa Laval’s rotary lobe and centrifugal pumps for a wide range of applications from WFI to viscous food products. Stainless-steel sanitary construction ensures optimal hygienic standards for all pumping within your process.
For industries with high hygienic standards, Valutech carries a wide variety of valve styles, including: single seat, regulation, mixproof, sampling, ball, check, and butterfly valves. We also offer control and indication units for all Alfa Laval and Tri-Clover® pneumatic valves.
Valutech supplies Gamajet and Toftejorg tank-cleaning machines to ensure compliance with strict sanitary regulations. Included in the tank equipment portfolio are manways, agitators, and LeviMag® aseptic magnetic mixers.
Valutech offers shell and tube exchangers for all industrial applications, complying with ASME, TSSA, CRN, TEMA, API, and NACE regulations. We supply units with shell diameters ranging from 4” to 36”, and tube materials including copper, stainless steel and nickel alloys.
In refrigeration and heat pump applications, brazed plate exchangers are used as evaporators, condensers, sub-coolers, and desuperheaters. The Alfa Laval line of refrigeration heat exchangers can withstand high-pressure CO2 applications, and are safe for use with ammonia and propane.
Valutech supplies a range of purpose-built CN-Series heat exchangers that are a more energy-efficient alternative to conventional direct-fired pool heaters. We offer solutions for chlorinated and salt-water pools and spas of all sizes.
Used in residential and commercial buildings, Valutech’s line of HTL air-liquid heat exchangers are suited for a variety of heating and cooling applications. We stock a complete range of HTL coils of sizes up to 36” by 36”.
Check valves range in size from 1/8” to 20”, with available custom options. Valutech carries flange, sanitary, welded, lined-pipe, union insert, straight-sided, tubing, wafer-insert, and threaded valve types.
Valutech supplies plate-coil heat exchangers to be used as clamp-on tank jackets or immersion heating & cooling panels. Featuring stainless steel, titanium, or high-alloy metal construction, they are customizable for various applications and industries.
Exhaust gas heat exchangers recover the heat from generator and engine exhaust; this can be used for space heating, as well as domestic and industrial hot water applications. Bowman header tank heat exchangers are widely used in marine engine cooling applications.

Reconditioning & Field Services
Valutech offers on-site servicing throughout Ontario, as well as access to highly-skilled, trained technicians at the Alfa Laval Service Centre in Toronto, Ontario and our in-house stock of replacement plates and gaskets for Alfa Laval models as part of our comprehensive plate heat exchanger servicing capabilities.
Reconditioning is available a full range of plate heat exchanger brands to restore performance and extend service life through liquid nitrogen-assisted gasket removal, chemical cleaning, dye penetrant inspection and plate deformation testing, addressing fouling, gasket deterioration and plate damage.
Alfa Laval Pump and Valve Repair
Valutech provides on-site repair and reconditioning services for Alfa Laval sanitary fluid handling equipment, including the LKH and SolidC centrifugal pump lines. Our pump services include replacement of mechanical seals, impellers, shafts, motors, and other components.
We support servicing of Alfa Laval sanitary single-seat, butterfly, mixproof, and sampling valves, as well as more complex Unique 7000, SMP mixproof, and Unique DV-ST UltraPure diaphragm valves with multi-port bodies. Spare parts for the complete product lineup are available through our in-house stock or on order directly from Alfa Laval.
Swimming Pool Heat Exchanger Repair
Valutech provides repair services for our CN-Series line of pool and spa heat exchangers throughout North America. Our service includes inspecting units for leaks and wear, as well as replacing seals, tube stacks, and heads as needed. We also stock replacement parts, including titanium tube stacks, to support repairs across the full CN-Series range and help keep pool and spa heating systems operating reliably year-round.
