Valutech Showcases Cutting-Edge HVAC-R, Hydronics, and Manufacturing Equipment

Valutech Inc. was proud to once again showcase its innovative heat transfer products at the Canadian Mechanical and Plumbing Exposition 2026. We showcased a wide range of HVAC and heat transfer products and services designed to support both commercial and industrial applications, featuring solutions for the following sectors:
• HVAC-R
• Hydronics
• Chemical, Steel, Automotive, Plastic Extrusion, Food Processing, and other Manufacturing Industries
• Maintenance and Cleaning of Plate Heat Exchangers
The Alfa Laval AXP line is the latest in brazed plate heat exchanger technology, with high efficiency and features for extreme pressure (140 bar) refrigeration applications.
We showcased two new additions to our lineup of plate heat exchangers — the 100% stainless-steel AlfaNovaXP fusion bonded heat exchanger, and the robust AXP brazed plate heat exchanger featuring tightening bolts and carbon steel external frame (shown at right). The AXP is a gasket-free plate heat exchanger suitable for heat pump, chiller, air conditioning, and other refrigeration applications up to pressures of 140 bar (2030 psi). Available in two sizes for high- pressure applications, the AlfaNovaXP features pressure ratings that greatly exceed those of our standard AlfaNova offerings. The XP design is particularly suited to CO2 applications, including cyclic and ultra high- pressure refrigerant service.
CMPX is Canada’s largest trade show to showcase the forefront of cutting-edge technology in the HVAC-R and plumbing industries, with 500+ exhibitors and tens of thousands of contractors, engineers, installers, building managers, wholesalers, and other industrial professionals scheduled to take part. The exhibition took place between March 25-27, 2026 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre South Building in downtown Toronto, ON.
Attendees were able to find us at Booth #506 to experience Valutech’s comprehensive range of heat transfer and fluid handling products and services firsthand. Over the three-day event, our team connected with a diverse group of professionals across all industrial fields, including engineers, consultants, mechanical technicians, and students to discuss how we can assist with their processes and project planning using our wide portfolio of HVAC-R equipment and years of technical experience working with planners, contractors, and engineers.
In addition to showcasing our products, Valutech contributed to the event’s educational program with a presentation titled “The Role of External Heat Exchangers in the Achievement of Net-Zero.” The session covered topics including an introduction to external heat exchangers, boiler protection, free cooling, chiller condenser protection, industrial waste heat recovery (quench tank energy reuse), data center heat utilization for district heating, flue gas heat recovery, and other niche applications.
