Flexible Pumping of Process and CIP Fluids in a Single Compact Unit
The Alfa Laval OS Twin Screw line of pumps is designed for gentle handling of sensitive and abrasive fluids of a wide range of viscosities. The flexibility of these pumps allows for handling both process fluids and CIP duties, which would normally be restricted to positive displacement, and centrifugal pumps, respectively. This leads to simplifications in piping and control system design, minimizing costs and contamination risk.
This line of pumps is quiet, virtually pulse-free, and cleanable to maintain product quality and prevent contamination over the lifespan of the unit; this makes it a superior choice for use in hygienic applications in the dairy, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and personal care industries.
The Alfa Laval OS Twin Screw pump is available in twelve models: a combination of four possible frame sizes and three possible screw profiles.
