CN-P Series Pool Heat Exchangers

CN-XL Series Pool Heat Exchangers

CN-XL series of pool heat exchangers are rugged with heavy duty construction and design. They are meant for municipal and commercial grade olympic size swimming pools. Most hotels, YMCAs, municipal arenas, community centers, universities/ colleges and condominiums use boilers for domestic water heating and other applications. Usually these boilers are oversized and are not used on a continuous basis even during the winter months. Utilizing the excess capacity for heating pools and hot tubs ensures continuous operation of the boiler which reduces cycling. The CN-XL series heat exchangers are available in capacities upto 3,000,000 Btu/hr.

The CN-XL provides a high surface area that facilitates high heat transfer rates- these units are designed to handle a flow rate of 400 USGPM of pool water with a pressure loss of only 3.2 psi (7.5 feet water).

CN-S Solar Series Pool Heat Exchangers

A large number of pool owners heat their pools indirectly with the use of solar panels. Solar heating of swimming pools differs from other systems in the way the heat is transferred. These systems run at unpredictable and fluctuating temperatures unlike traditional heating methods.

To maximize the transfer of solar energy the CNS Series Cupro-Nickel Solar Range of Pool Heat Exchangers are made with longer tube bundles to increase the retention time.

These units are available in capacities ranging from 82,000 Btu/hr to 600,000 Btu/hr (at 158F).

Bowman CNSS Series Stainless Steel Pool Heat Exchangers are ideal for heating chlorinated and bromine pools. The units are also widely used in the rapidly growing freshwater aquaculture and aquaponics applications.

These units are designed to handle the large flow rates created by pool pumps with minimal pressure loss. The Bowman CNSS Series Stainless Steel series is available in 200,000 and 400,000 Btu/hr capacities.
