Designed specially for use within the dairy, food, beverage, dairy-alternative, and home & personal care industries, this line is well-suited for the handling of heat-sensitive media over long running times. Plates that are suitable for handling media with fibers in juices and similar products are available.

The FrontLine is suited for milk pasteurization and HTST (high-temperature short-time) operations; large plate sizes allow for 92% heat recovery within pasteurization processes. The FrontLine also features 40% more capacity than comparable models within equal or less floor space.

FrontLine Automatic

Alfa Laval’s FrontLine Automatic series of premium plate-and-frame heat exchangers builds upon the features of the FrontLine series, while offering an electric open/close drive system. This allows for the smooth and automated movement of the pressure plate to pre-set positions within the frame via an integrated PLC system.
