Removable Blade Heaters

Warren Electric offers removable blade construction on its flanged immersion or circulation Heaters. This allows each "hairpin" element of the heater to be replaced individually. (Please note that this is not suitable for temperatures over 400° F.)

Removable blade heaters are are particularly attractive in situations where "downtime" must be avoided and replacement heaters are not readily available. Heater repairs can usually be made on the job site with a few, inexpensive spare blades on hand. Remove the heater from the tank or shell/casing and replace the blade(s) as requried. You might want to consider this design for ANSI flange sizes of five inches and up.

A wide selection of watt densities, power ratings, and element sheath materials make removable blade heaters an excellent choice for many heating applications including the heating of chemicals, fuels and oils.
