Heat
Transfer Fluid Heaters
Warren Electric manufactures Heat Transfer Fluid Heaters designed specifically for heat transfer fluids. Heat Transfer Fluids
allow for heating another medium without direct contact between
the electric immersion heater and the heated medium. The Heat Transfer
Fluid Heater is directly immersed into the heat transfer fluid with
the most commonly used element sheath being steel. Typical applications
include gases, water, and steam and are usually in the form of a
flanged or screw plug immersion heater.
When selecting a heater to heat the transfer fluid, it is important
that you know the film maximum temperature of the heat transfer
fluid. The watt density varies according to flow rate at the desired
temperature.
Warren
Electric will design and manufacture Heat Transfer Fluid Heaters
to your exact specifications at temperatures up to 700° F. Standard
high temperature options include Welded Elements or Extended Terminal
Enclosures. Operating and/or high limit temperature thermocouples,
pressure vessel assemblies (ASME certification) are also available.
Specify weather or explosion resistant terminal enclosure if required.
