Pumps
Our standard graphite centrifugal pumps have been used in
the process industry for over 40 years. SGL ACOTEC's expertise with
process equipment fabricated from graphite is extended to the area
of pumps. The pump impeller, casing, seal casing cover and housing
bearing are all machined from a large block of ®DIABON graphite
making them exceptionally resistant to corrosion and abrasion.
Pump capacities range from volumetric flow liquid flow rates of
2 to 400 m3/hour and discharge heads of 5 to 100 meters.
All our graphite centrifugal pumps come with:
- Impellers that are fitted with dischargeable blades which
not only reduces the axial force acting on the pump, but controls
the pressure in the seal area making for optimum service conditions.
- Pump casings are held between two strong cast iron housings
which bear the tightening force of the piping by reducing the
load on the casing to compressive forces.
- Our pumps are fitted with single or double mechanical
seals which can meet any international standard or code
of safety.
