The development of the trademark ®DIABON NS1 and NS2
- enhanced forms of graphite material for chemical process equipment
- has greatly expanded the application range for graphite heat exchangers
and pumps. The high standard of strength and corrosion resistance
required for the construction of process equipment is achieved by
impregnating the graphite components with synthetic-resin. The resin
completely seals the pore system, thereby increasing the strength
value of the graphite by a factor of about 2 to 3, while improving
its resistance to highly corrosive materials.
With their expertise in the field of graphite production and heat
exchanger technology, SGL ACOTEC has developed a superior heat exchanger
that is virtually resistant to all organic and inorganic media and
able to withstand higher pressures and material temperatures up
