heat exchanger cleaningShell and Tube Heat Exchanger Cleaning

Through our partnership with Conco Systems, we are capable of performing Heat Exchanger Cleaning, Leak Detection and Eddy Current Testing with the appropriate certification in many areas of industry ranging from nuclear plants to refineries. We are capable of meeting your heat exchanger tube cleaning needs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for emergency situations or just routine maintenance.

Cleaning heat exchanger tubes is something we should all take seriously. Whether we like it or not, heat exchangers are prone to fouling and sediment buildup. Because of the fluids flowing within and over the tubes, poor heat transfer rates will inevitably raise production costs. To reduce these costs, heat exchanger performance should be constantly monitored and the heat exchanger should be cleaned on a regular basis.

Our Heat Exchanger Cleaning Service

  • Our heat exchanger cleaning service is available 24 hours a day for emergency situations or routine maintenance shut downs.
  • We can clean as many as 5000 tubes per shift.
  • We can complete the work under half-load or reduced-load conditions.
  • Every job we do will include activity reports detailing time, problems, deposit weight and density, loss on ignition, and elemental analysis by X-Ray Fluorescence.
  • Comprehensive training programs, technical assistance and product demonstrations are available.

To improve the performance of a shell and tube heat exchangers, the tubes should be cleaned at regular intervals. Each time the tube deposits, sedimentation, biofouling and obstructions are removed, the tube surface is returned to its original condition. These tube cleaning procedures are performed offline, the most frequently chosen and fastest method being mechanical cleaning.
