SIV (CB, TC)
The Sanitary Insert Valve is an all fluoropolymer (PTFE/FEP/PFA),
check valve with a 316 stainless steel spring (which can be
FEP encapsulated) for use in new or existing sanitary systems.
The valve is designed to fit into grooved end clamp type fittings
and replaces the gasket normally used with these fittings.
For nearly 30 years, the compact, Teflon®, Sanitary Insert
Valve has been used as the most economical solution
to providing a check valve in a new or existing sanitary
piping system. This valve style is designed to fit into grooved-end
clamp-type fittings. Since the Sanitary Insert Valve replaces
the gasket normally used with clamp joints, no extra space
is required to accommodate the valve.
