Bushing Check Valves (BU)

The Bushing Check Valve is a check valve that prevents process flow from reversing using a standard bushing housing. The valve can be used in almost any type of service application. If has very little restriction and produces a low pressure drop. It can be used rather successfully using a reducer coupling in systems where flow and pressure drop are critically important. Bushing check valves make an excellent vacuum breaker and by reversing the direction of flow it can also be used as a low pressure relief valve. Its high flow rate insures maximum long term service.
