Sanitary Valves

At Valutech, and in partnership with Alfa Laval, we offer sanitary valves both for sterile and non-sterile fluid handling processes together with intelligent “set and forget” valve control units. In so many fluid handling processes, many different products are often pumped and routed through a series of process stages from production to the packaging area. To preserve the quality of these products, i.e., water and beer, sanitary valves are of critical importance.

To help you keep your process safe and free of contamination, we offer the following range of sanitary valves from single seat to the butterfly, mix-proof, shutter and controlled sanitary valves.

Single Seat Actuated Valves

The Unique 7000 Series is an innovative new generation of Tri-Clover® single seat valves that are designed to meet the highest process demands of hygiene and safety. They're built on a well-proven, platform from an installed base of more than one million valves.

The Unique 7000 is a sanitary air-operated seat valve with a flexible design. It can be configured as a shut-off valve with two or three ports or as a change-over valve with three to five ports. It’s ideal applications include the dairy, beverage, brewery, food, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and personal care industries.

The Unique 7000 valve is designed to deliver years of reliability and performance you’ve come to expect with all Tri-Clover® products. Its flexible design consists of either one or two bodies that are clamped together. The TR2 seat ring with enhanced CIP capabilities and hygiene comes standard with all Unique 7000 series valves. For added confidence, the valve can be supplied with a controlled compression elastomer seal ring.

Butterfly Valves

Our butterfly valves are highly economical sanitary valves of the highest quality. They can be supplied as either automatic or manually operated systems for use in stainless steel pipe systems. They have a very low pressure drop which produces a steady flow of product.

Due to their large opening areas, these stainless steel butterfly valves provide low flow resistance, allow for reversible flow direction, and offer gentle product treatment to maintain the physical stability of the product, i.e., beer.

Our butterfly valves come with flange connections which allow for easier in-line maintenance in welded systems. The LKB series can be fitted with vertically mounted LKLA actuators, as well as the ThinkTop control and indication units.

For manual operation, we offer a complete range of handles, including the new multi-position lockable handle and a complete range of multi-position, mechanically locking handles.

Mixproof Valves

Mixproof valves are an essential part of sanitary flow processing, separating two different products, but also preventing product contamination from other non-sanitary fluids. Mixproof means the prevention of mixing two incompatible liquids, but when thinking in terms of processing, the task is to obtain mixproof solutions while at the same time using as few resources as possible.

Our mixproof valves save space making them less expensive to install. In most cases, a single mixproof valve can do the job of two or three single-seat valves, saving you space and installation costs and providing you with unmatched system flexibility. We offer several mixproof valves, all with simple and cost-effective maintenance.

Shutter Valves - MH - Koltek

The MH Koltek valve is a shutter valve specially designed for difficult applications in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical and other industries where valves of sanitary design are required. This special shutter valve can be either manually or pneumatically operated.

The MH is a self-draining valve that allows for multi-directional flow of product. An internal shutter closes ports progressively to help minimize pressure shock and stress. The MH can either be manually or pneumatically operated, and is available with two or three port connections at the same level. MH A shutter valve that allows for multi-directional flow of product.
