Tank or Manhole Covers
Alfa Laval’s range of tank covers for external access, or manhole
covers, are designed to fit anywhere where a closeable means of
access to the interior of the vessel is required. Available in many
different types, we can provide access tank covers for all application
needs and covers can be situated above or below the liquid level,
depending on your requirements. We offer two kinds of tank covers:
Circular Type HLSD
Outward opening manhole cover type HLSD is used on top of pressurized
tanks and containers where closeable means of access to the interior
of the vessel is required.
Oval Type LKD
The oval Access Tank Cover LKD manhole covers are used on tanks
or containers where a closeable means of access to the interior
of the vessel is required. The particular cover has been designed
taking into account today’s demands for manhole covers which are
suitable for CIP cleaning processes and where access to the tank
is only necessary for occasional inspection.

machines that can do the job. The respected Toftejorg brand includes
a complete range of rotary spray and jet cleaning heads as
well as fixed spray heads.
1. Fixed Spray Heads
Fixed spray heads are ideal for simple cleaning applications and
wetting of tank walls. The LKRK is a fixed spray ball used for cleaning
storage tanks in the food and beverage industries. Fixed spray balls
are used for less demanding cleaning duties. The LKRK features DIN
and ISO connections and sanitary design.
2. Rotary Spray Head
Rotary spray heads are ideal for more efficient cleaning and where
the cleaning liquid consumption is of concern. Our rotary cleaning
heads significantly cut the amount of time, chemicals, water and
energy used during cleaning. The benefits of rotary head cleaning

Toftejorg rotary jet heads clean tanks by casting jets of cleaning
media against tank walls. The flow of detergent through the head’s
turbine and gears causes the nozzles to perform rotations around
the vertical and horizontal axes, generating a criss-cross spray

TJ 20G - 360° impact cleaning and coverage, award-winning
hygienic design.

at low flow rate.
SaniMidget - full coverage, effective cleaning at low flow
rate, sanitary design.
SaniMidget Retractor - retractable, suited to tanks with

Tank Legs - support for your tank
Stainless steel tank leg type LKTC is used for free standing stainless
steel tanks or vessels where adjustable supports is necessary to
ensure stability.
